Position: Automation Engineer* *Location : Detroit, MI* *Duration: 6+ months Plus CTH* Top 3 Skills: Automated Tools (TFS, Quality Center, ALM, QTP), Test Cases and Execution, Understanding the full process of QA, development background* * Technical Skills: Ideally, the manager is looking for *very senior level QA Engineers* with some coding experience (QL IS A BIG .NET SHOP). He really wants people that can dig into the application and debug and go deep into the application to see what the problems are and resolve them. The QA will be responsible for working on new projects, existing projects, and maintenance. They will work with Architects, Developers, PM’s, and BA’s throughout the full life cycle of the project so they will be the voice of the QA team so they need to be very aggressive, take ownership of projects, and nonstop customer facing interactions. Obviously means they need great communication skills. The manager stacked ranked the automation tools he would like them to have in the following order: 1) TFS 2)Quality Center 3) ALM 4) QTP is a distant fourth. A huge plus is Mortgage Experience. He would also like someone that’s worked in an Agile environment for automation.
