Facilitate discussions of the user experience to expose key questions and requirements. Work with a user researcher to plan and execute studies of varying breadth and depth to better understand the customer, get feedback on directions and concepts, and validate designs. Skillfully merge research findings, creative innovation, and best practices to generate unique, strategic solutions and present them to senior stakeholders regularly. Create mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, presentations and other artifacts to communicate and document designs to a variety of audiences. Explore analytics data to inform our understanding of customer behavior and the site experience. Act as an outspoken voice of the customer, site usability and brand experience Help to mentor other team members by sharing knowledge, research, and process.
*Skills Summary:* College Degree in information design, human factors, HCI, cognitive psychology, or related discipline desired. 8+ years of dedicated experience in interaction design, information architecture, user experience strategy, and concept development. Extensive experience creating mockups, wireframes and related artifacts. Demonstrated experience solving usability issues in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Able to reconcile user needs with business goals and technology constraints. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Experience with customer-facing websites and mobile applications. Strong preference to those with agency and/or consulting experience. Online portfolio with work samples and project case studies required.
