MUST: SQL 2005/2008 TSQL SSIS/DTS Experience with backup and restore methodology Experience with database migration Knowledge of how to create jobs Basic understanding of SQL security Stored Procedure optimization PLUS: Change Control experience (preferred) Experience with deadlock tracing (nice to have) SSRS (nice to have) Clustering experience (nice to have but raises salary expectations a lot) Programming experience is a plus Role They currently have a SR SQL DBA who puts in over 80 hours a week b/c of the workload. They need someone to come in and take some of the work from the SR SQL DBA.
