You can add me on G'talk : chetan.ramy You can add me on YM : chetan_ramy Position: Oracle DBA Location:* *Northridge, CA* *Duration: 12+Months Interview Mode: Phone then Skype* * Qualifications and Experience* · Looking for a DBA with Oracle experience. * Develop and maintain database standards, conventions, and data dictionaries for CareLink databases. * Installs, maintains and upgrades Oracle Applications; staying current on releases of Oracle, including compatibility issues with operating systems, third party software and utilities. * Creates, manages, and resolves Service Request with Oracle support; * Support of daily operations including job monitoring and troubleshooting Design, develop, and maintain backup-up and disaster recovery strategies. * Perform database queries in support of R&D, quality, marketing, sales and other business stakeholders. * Drive innovation through data mining analytics. * Analyze data access, integration, and storage requirements for databases, implement security and integrity rules. * Enforce polices, standards, and guidelines regarding database development and management to comply with HIPAA, SOX, Regulatory and Corporate audit requirements. * Import/Export of data with de-identification strategies to comply with various regulatory requirements. * Develop integration with SAP. * Writes shell scripts for Linux/Solaris and Windows Operating Systems. * Keeping the databases up to date on patches and supporting the roll-out of new versions. *Basic Qualifications:* · (Basic skills and experiences necessary to perform the job: must be relevant, objective, and non-comparative) * BS, BA, or similar degree along with comparable industry experience. * Must have experience designing high-performance secured database solutions using Oracle 10g/11G · Must have a minimum of 6 years hands-on Oracle production DBA experience. * Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager for monitoring and performance tuning in Unix and Linux environments. * Experience in designing and developing solutions with Fine Grained Auditing. * Familiar with MySQL servers. * Well versed in shell scripting. * Strong communication skills. * Available to provide after-hours support as needed.
