Position: Cognos Developer Duration: 6 Months
Location: Montvale, NJ Face 2 Face Interview We are looking for a Cognos Developer with significant experience in development using all of the Cognos version 8.4.1 tools. It is extremely important that this developer haveexcellent communication skills, as interaction with end users and other IT colleagues will be frequent. This individual must have strong technical skills.This developer should have experience working with SQL in a DB2 for z/OS environment and should have significant experience developing Framework Manager Models, Packages, reports using Query Studio; complex reports using Report Studio and Analysis Studio and complex cubes using Cognos Transformer. He/She should be very familiar with and able to perform Cognos administration tasks when needed. He/She will take part in a conversion from Cognos v7.3 to v8.4.1, and in the near future from v8.4.1 to v10 and must be able to perform the tasks required for this effort. Experience with Cognos 10, Cognos running within the IBM zLinux / Websphere environment or Cognos on a distributed platform would be considered a big plus.This developer must be a self-starter that is able to work in a small team environment, where many different hats may be worn in a day, multiple developers contribute to the goals of the department, and work may be shared among any of these developers -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business_Intelligence" group.
