The candidate will develop and maintain various Word Press websites,
including themes and plugins. This will include the development of
"state-of-the-art" mobile first, database and feed driven Word Press
websites to support the various leagues and their products. The candidate
should be an expert in their field and help lead the team strategically in
achieving our goals.
*Qualifications:Major Responsibilities:: *• Set coding standards and help
drive the strategic technical direction of our Word Press development
efforts.
• Gather business requirements and design technical solutions to meet those
needs.
• Build fully functional Word Press websites based on business requirements
and design specs.
• Understand and modify existing systems as business requirements change.
• Develop system test criteria and participate in systems testing.
• Respond to, isolate and resolve programming problems.
• Provide after hours and weekend support for production systems
*Required Experience & Knowledge:: *• Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS3,
JavaScript, JQuery
• Server Side Technologies: PHP, all others a plus.
• Data Formatting Technologies: XML,XSL,JSON
• Web/Application Servers: Apache, Tomcat, Microsoft IIS, WAMP, NGINX
• Utility Languages: FTP, SSH, Shell Scripting
• Content Management Systems: Word Press
-3+ years of experience in a web development team environment.
*Educational Background Required:: *- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer
Science or related field.
