*Job Description::* -The QlikView Developer will be part of a team focused on the development of enterprise wide reporting initiatives. The developer will be focused mainly on the analysis of business requirements, data source discovery, design, development, testing, and implementation of analytical reporting solutions using QlikView. Other activities will include providing support for existing QlikView applications and ad-hoc reporting data support for the business. This position will also be responsible to provide project management and other general reporting support. A successful candidate will have strong back-end development skills in QlikView. -Effectiveness in this position will require understanding of analytical trends, BI tool capabilities & best practices, emerging productivity efficiencies, creative reporting solution design, and the ability to work independently. This position will need to possess strong data analysis and interpersonal skills, business knowledge and be capable of effective relationships and negotiations between teams. *Describe the primary responsibilities of the position in order of importance and identify % of time spent on that responsibility:* 1. Ability to develop/enhance/support complex back-end scripting that integrates disparate data sources including SAP BW, Oracle/other RDBMS/offline content using QlikView. 75% 2. Turn data into actionable information: provide expert analysis in the area of understanding, accessing and reconciling data and converting it into actionable information and insights for management. 15% 3. Proactively seek out opportunities to optimize reporting processes and script design by tracking progress, providing status and cost efficiencies for current and proposed initiatives. 10% *Qualifications:* • Minimum 5 years of experience with QlikView back-end and front-end design and development including backend ETL for data extraction and data modeling • Strong data analysis and testing experience • Strong SQL scripting experience and ability to create scripts from different data sources • Strong communication skills where they offer suggestions on how to improve current processes *# YEARS MIN* 1. QlikView back-end script development – 5 a. Experience creating back-end scripts from SAP BW sources a plus 2. Strong SQL scripting experience - 5 3. Ability to perform unit/string testing on QlikView application development – 2 4.
