*Job Description :*



The Infrastructure Network Manager is responsible for the day to day
operations of the organization’s global core voice and data networks (wired
and wireless), enterprise network architecture, network technology
evaluations, protocol analysis, configuration, and research, complex
trouble shooting and analysis and special network projects. In addition,
this senior resource will take an active role in capacity planning, network
monitoring and technology mentoring. The Network Manager will direct
assigned project staff to design, develop and/or implement large, complex
technology solutions supporting one or more business and/or technology
areas. The qualified candidate demonstrates a strong ability to multi-task
in an environment of constantly changing

priorities. As a team leader, this individual will assume some staff
supervision and vendor interface responsibility.



*Responsibilities:*

·  *Responsible for design, engineering, analysis, configuration, and
troubleshooting of company-s network infrastructure and services, including
switches, routers, LAN/WAN, firewalls, load balancers, WiFi and VPN
devices, WAN protocols, and advanced knowledge of dynamic routing protocols
such as BGP and OSPF.*

·  Solid working knowledge of capabilities and direction of technology,
coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the technology required and the needs
of business environment necessary to support assigned projects.

·  Interfaces with client counterparts and hosting providers to establish
the required connectivity to deliver client services.

·  Provide technical advice and network designs to achieve audit and
compliance goals including HITRUST, HIPAA HiTech, PCI and other corporate
requirements.

·  Develops technical standards, identifies and evaluates new products, and
provides resolution for issues.

·  Expand the monitoring and reporting tool suite, providing a pro action
approach to supporting the network infrastructure and to achieve optimum
performance levels.

·  Identifies and diagnoses complex problems and factors affecting network
performance.

·  Evaluates and identifies opportunities for network performance and
functionality improvements.

·  Studies vendor products to determine those which best meet company needs
and assists in presentation of information to management result in purchase
and installation of hardware and software.

·  Assist in supporting non-network technologies such as Servers, SAN, and
virtualization.

·  Provides guidance and direction for less experienced engineers.

·  Adheres to change control policies and procedures.

·  Collaborate with peers to proactively identify potential issues and
areas of improvements in existing network environment.

·  Manages to the tactical and operational plan for assigned technology
projects in support of critical business objectives.

·  Multi-tasks, prioritizes according to business priorities and production
availability requirements.

·  On call as needed for problems and incidents.

·  After hours, weekend work often required during off hours maintenance
windows.



*Qualifications:*

·  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
required.

·  Seven or more years of Network Engineering experience required.

·  In-depth knowledge of networking and telecommunication systems,
concepts, applicable methodologies, tools, standards, procedures and
policies.

·  In-depth understanding of fiber optic communications, Cisco Routers,
Switches, Wireless and IP Telephony systems.

·  Proven proficiency in the use of network monitoring or other
optimization tools such as Solar Winds, CiscoWorks, etc.

·  Expertise in many of the following protocols and technologies: STP,
RSTP, TCP/IP, IP, 802.1d, 802.1x, 802.1q, DS1/3,  PIMv2, 802.11a/b/g/n,
IPSec, 3Des, AES, PEAP, LEAP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP.

*Knowledge of the major router and switching platforms:       • Cisco
Catalyst 65xx, 45xx, 37xx, 29xx        • Cisco 75xx, 72xx, 36xx, 37xx,
28xx      • Nexus 7000, 5000, 2000      • Cisco WiSM*

·  *Knowledge of major internet routing protocols: BGP, IGMP, EIGRP, OSPF*

·  *Cisco IOS*

·  *Cisco PIX version 8.3 and later*

·  *Knowledge of Cisco CallManager platform, SIP, QoS, and other Telephony
technologies*

·  *CCNP Routing and Switching*

·  Other certifications a plus

·  Knowledge of F5 LTM a plus

·  Knowledge of other technologies a plus:

o    Microsoft Exchange, Lync

o    Windows Server 2008, 2012

o    Microsoft Hyper_V 2012

o    EMC SANs and related technology

o    Dell Equallogic

o    Experience working in a highly virtualized environment.

·  Ability to work well with off-shore and hosting resources

·  Experience working in a partially outsourced IT environment helpful.

·  Experience in Healthcare helpful.
