Candidate will be working on a web portal that provides real-time data, analytics and analysis tools for sales, trading and research to collaborate with customers on current and future trade ideas. The system uses a Java-based front-end, communicating via XML with a Windows application layer. Responsibilities include : * Design, develop, test and deploy robust client facing applications in a web-based environment. * The position may require interaction with end users, both while gathering specs and giving support so excellent communication skills are required. Qualifications: *Software Development experience of 5 * 7 years is preferred. *Strong communication skills, ability to explain architecture and design to other developers as well as business users. *Strong Core Java and Java EE (J2EE) development including object oriented design patters, strong multi-threading and JSP development. *Experience with Weblogic and managing web application deployment, WAR, Ant, etc. *Knowledge of integrating systems XML, XSLT, HTTP, AJAX and JDBC *Undergraduate degree in finance, computer science, engineering or a quantitative science.
