*Position:- SAP ABAP/EDI Technical Development Lead*

*Location:- Dubuque, IA*

*Duration:- 12+ Months*

*MOI:- Telephonic + Skype*



*Note:*

   - Need 2 manager references from past projects – Must be someone he/she
   reported to directly
   - The resource must have a laptop equipped with current virus protection
   software and the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
   Visio, and Microsoft project.
   - The resource's laptop must be able to support SAP GUI 7.4 at a minimum.
   - The resource must be able to support a Monday - Thursday travel
   schedule with remote meetings on Fridays based on the project schedule.

*Questions (must answer YES to ALL)*

   - Has this resource served as an overall Technical Development lead on a
   full cycle ERP project within the last year?
   - Has this resource managed onshore and offshore development resources
   on a project involving functional scope that included FICO, MM, PP, SD, and
   WM?
   - Has this person worked as a Technical lead overseeing projects that
   included EDI and PI/PO in scope?
   - Has this resource worked to prepare weekly Technical development
   tracking metrics for close monitoring of development team progress?
   - Does this resource have ABAP technical development skills and done
   some programming within the last year to provide good Technical advisory
   support to developers?
   - Does this resource have experience interacting with senior client
   leadership and preparing detailed project plans for how development efforts
   will be completed?
   - Does this resource have exposure to Fiori Launchpad apps and what is
   required to set up the landscape?
   - Does this resource have experience working with hosting companies as
   part of overall Technical leadership and oversight on a midsize project?
   - Does this resource have strong references from at least 2 prior
   projects where they served as a technical lead?
   - Does this resource have experience with Microsoft project, Excel,
   Powerpoint, and Word and the ability to prepare clear and concise
   documentation?

*Skills (ADVANCED/EXPERT):*

·         *EDI/SAP ABAP - Strong Experience in providing technical
oversight for projects involving EDI implementation*

·         *ABAP Programming and Runtime Environment (BC - ABA), SAP Basis -
Basic exposure to this basis function; not expecting a BASIS resource skill
set here*

·         *Process Integration, SAP Netweaver - Exposure to SAP PI/PO as a
technical lead*

·         *LSMW, SAP ABAP - Experience working with and editing SAP LSMW's*

·         *ABAP Query, SAP ABAP*

·         *ALE, SAP ABAP*

·         *Smartforms, SAP ABAP*

·         *Business Workflow (BC - WF), SAP ABAP*

·         *Enterprise Portal, SAP Netweaver*

·         *Solution Manager, SAP Netweaver*

·         *Prior experience working on a project involving Variant
configuration*

·         *Fiori UX - Experience working with the Fiori Launchpad technical
setup*

*Description:*

   - As a technical development lead, during the Blueprint phase, this
   resource is expected to help with RICEWF list rationalization to help
   finalize the development scope based on business requirements and input
   from the functional consultants.
   - This resource will also be responsible for providing technical
   oversight to both onshore and offshore technical development resources.
   - This resource must review functional specs, help provide guidance to
   developers, ensure that key metrics on development progress are tracked,
   provide code reviews, ensure that technical development specs are properly
   documented. The resource will also make sure that unit testing of RICEWF
   objects is completed in accordance with client sign-off procedures.
   - The resource will monitor staffing and ensure that issues are
   escalated and resolved based on collaboration with the project manager and
   PMO team.
   - The resource is expected to collaborate effectively with functional
   consultants to drive the completion of good quality functional specs that
   can be executed by the onsite and offshore development resources.
   - The resource will be expected to use tools like JIRA and SharePoint to
   manage tasks, track issues, and resolve defects associated with solution
   development and testing activities.
   - The resource will also be expected to closely adhere to change
   management processes that prohibit the introduction of new technical
   development scope without prior client and consulting leadership approval
   as part of change management processes that will be established for the
   project.

*Deliverables:*

   - Technical Development list (Rationalized based on Blueprint scope
   approval)
   - Functional specification review
   - Technical specification review
   - Technical development on specific objects as bandwidth permits
   - Cutover plan input and coordination
   - Development staff management in coordination with offshore technical
   lead
   - Acceptance Criteria:
   - The client acceptance criteria will include functional spec, tech
   spec, and unit testing sign-off for RICEWF approved objects.
