*Ideally would like a US Citizen/ GC or EADs. But Comm skills have to be a
10/10.*


*Senior AIX Systems Administrator:*

Analyze & evaluate major complex system/user project requirements.

Provide senior direction in complex root cause.

Installation & admin of AIX 5.3, 6.1 and 7.1 OS.

Install and manage P700 frame architecture.

Install & configure Logical Partitions (LPARs) and high availability
(HACMP).

Familiarity with SAP functional modules on AIX platform. Implement VIO
Servers/virtual client profiles setup, configuring Shared Ethernet adaptor,
testing cluster failover manually & creating virtual disk resources.

Ability to architect and design large and complex AIX system configuration,
based on existing workloads or new requirements.

Ability to implement AIX systems with advanced Virtualizations such as VIO,
SEA, NPIV, Micro Partitioning, etc

Ability to layout Advanced AIX networking configurations with SEA, VLANs,
etc Ability to configure External SAN storage within the VIO servers,
allocating storage to VIO client LPAR’s via VSCSI or NPIV

Ability to troubleshoot AIX/Linux, IT infrastructure performance issues

Works well with peers and customers, self-initiator and resourceful

Ability to be a technical lead on projects – Will be managing 2-3 technical
folks.


*Preferred:*  Experience with IBMs XIV SAN. IBM Certifications for AIX,
SVC/XIV. Advanced Expertise in IBM SAN Management including XIV, SVC,
Protectier, and Brocade switches.

   - High Availability experience with HACMP or Vision, a plus
