Industry Leading Client is seeking a Business Data Analyst for a contract
opportunity in Irving, TX!



*Job Duties*

   - Assist BA lead to plan and lead requirements gathering sessions with
   business units and other key stakeholders.
   - Perform advanced data analysis and systems analysis to ensure that
   requirements have all core business rules identified, non-functional
   requirements identified and that business exceptions have been accounted.
   - Develop advanced process maps to illustrate existing business process
   and solution interactions.
   - Assist BA Lead to maintain requirements management process in JIRA for
   client developed solutions.
   - Responsible for mock-up development and review with business users and
   ensure that mock-up designs incorporate existing design patterns supported
   by development team.
   - Assist BA Lead to plan, lead and manage the sprint planning process
   which includes: iteration planning, scheduling and task creation/follow-up
   and Kanban.
   - Support QA efforts through test plan creation, test script development
   and test scripts reviews.
   - Plan and lead User Acceptance Testing with QA analyst and end users
   and expedite issue resolution to achieve acceptance from end-user.
   - Assist BA Lead solution deployment activities with development
   leveraging change control process.

*Required Skills/Experience*

   - Working knowledge of Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) sales
   operations domain including:  cost study, sales reporting, membership, fee
   share processing.
   - 7+ years’ demonstrable experience in a formal SDLC environment (Dev,
   Test, Prod).
   - Completed at least 3 full lifecycles (define, build, test, accept,
   deploy and support) development projects of medium to high level of
   complexity in which candidate led, represented and was accountable for all
   project’s business requirements responsibilities.
   - Comfortable in environments where there exists ambiguous domain
   knowledge.
   - Self-reliant and able to independently acquire the appropriate level
   of domain knowledge in order to deliver actionable requirement artifacts.
   - 5-8 years’ combined experience in waterfall and agile environments.
   - Fluent in agile concepts and terminology (SCRUM, Kanban, epics, story
   boards, etc.).
   - 5-8 years’ demonstrable experience in requirements gathering and
   management in use case and story formats.
   - 5-8 years’ demonstrable in business process mapping (“As-Is” and
   “To-Be”).
   - 3-5 years’ experience with web application screen mock-up and
   requirements.
   - 3+ years’ demonstrable experience with SQL and data analysis in MS SQL
   Server or Oracle environments.
   - Knowledgeable of Object Oriented (OO) Development Concepts.
   - 3+ years’ experience in application testing - test case and test
   script creation; defect documentation and management.
   - Fluent in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Visio.
   - Experience using tools such as SQL server management studio, TOAD, and
   SQLPlus.
   - 3+ years’ experience using requirements management repository tools
   (e.g. Rally Dev, Jira, DOORS)
