Phone + f2f · Designs, develops, tests and deploys reports using Cognos Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. · Creates, modifies, enhances and maintains Framework Manager Models within Cognos BI. Assist with and/or lead demonstrations and provide training on use of reports and their functionality. · Supports and maintains records for all end to end solution designs for Cognos BI business initiatives. · Develops, deploys and maintains portal pages and frameworks within Cognos BI. Works with department representatives, data base administrators, project manager, etc., to effectively follow through on all assigned tasks. · Takes initiative to understand the code and details of changes and other application areas impacted by necessary changes. · Experience building a Cognos visualization from scratch or modernizing Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities In depth understanding and demonstrated ability to work with IBM Cognos BI components including but not limited to Framework Manager Models and Report Studio. Effective written and verbal business communication skills including spelling, punctuation, grammar and business arithmetic Communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills Ability to use logic and reasoning to make appropriate decisions Knowledge of computer technology and trends Preferred experience with Agile, Scrum project development methodologies Familiarity with ETL Tools and basic data warehouse concepts Familiarity with dimensional models Star schema, snowflakes, etc. Preferred experience in troubleshooting and data analysis skills.
