Please send resumes to anil.ku...@stiorg.com or reach me at 609-232-8702. *Details:* *Job title: Data Modeler* *Location:** Austin, TX, United States* *Duration: 6 months* *Job Description**:* v The Data Modeler position will be responsible for the development of enterprise data models at the conceptual, logical, and physical levels, be able to identify and promote best practices and patterns for data modeling, and provide oversight activities related to data cleansing, data quality and data consolidation using standard data modeling methodologies and processes. v This position will collaborate with IT management, IT Architects, IT Analysts, development staff, and business users in the design, modeling, and implementation of physical database structures to support new and ongoing application development. *Responsibilities: * · Understand and influence the design of EDW and data integration strategies for the Enterprise Information Management team. · Create and maintain the conceptual, logical and physical data models for the Enterprise and other applications. · Collaborate closely Architecture team to ensure alignment of the EDW, ODS and Master Data Management data models. · Performing gap analysis of current architecture including data models, data flows, sourcing of data and their implementations against the strategic roadmap. · Assist in engaging business units with high level designs, data modeling sessions and data quality initiatives. · Collaborate closely with business analysts and data subject matter experts to ensure the data models produced will properly support business needs. · Work closely with database administration to establish and maintain highly resilient, scalable and high performance architecture when the model is implemented physically on the target platform(s). · Deliver data model designs using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies for multiple project teams. *Qualifications:* · Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience in data modeling, with at least 5 years modeling at an enterprise level · Excellent knowledge of Dimensional and relational Data Modeling, Data Integration, Database Administration, OLAP Design and ETL Architectures. · Experience with Enterprise Data Architecture, Enterprise Data Integration, Data Virtualization, Data Modeling, Analysis, and Metadata Management. · Database design, process design, and business reporting. · Data Model Management and Metadata Management tools such as ERwin · Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Ab Initio, Talend or DataStage, SSIS. · Experiences with BI tools and reporting software such as OBIEE, Microstrategy, Spotfire, Cognos or SSRS. · Cloud and virtualization technologies. · Excellent oral/presentation and written communication skills · Excellent judgment and decision making skills · Excellent interpersonal and problem solving ability · Effective organizational and negotiation skills · Ability to successfully network with other departments where necessary · Self-motivated and possess good interpersonal skills and project a positive attitude · Ability to effectively teach required skills · Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply to practical applications ------------ Warm Regards, *Anil Kumar* *Software Technology Inc.,* 100 Overlook Center , Suite 200, Princeton, NJ 08540 *Tel:* (609) 232-8702 ||* Fax:* (866) 608-6686 *E-mail:* anil.ku...@stiorg.com||*Web: *www.stiorg.com This is not an unsolicited mail.
