The role will involve leading the testing effort and/or team planning,
constructing and executing release tests. Apply testing methodologies,
principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and
assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.
Apply business and functional knowledge to meet the team's overall test

*Position/Work Schedule Requirements: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 6:00pm*

The Senior PeopleSoft Developer will be responsible for supporting the
production implementation of PeopleSoft for the FMS 9.1 project. The
consultant will play an active role in the design, development, and testing
of PeopleSoft applications within the existing FSCM solution.

*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
• Providing effort estimates for development team work.
• Delivering effective solutions on time, within budget and in
adherence to development and quality standards.
• Complying with the system development life cycle (SDLC).
• Completing the development process including development of
technical specifications and modification documentation.
• Facilitating appropriate knowledge transfer within the team
and business offices.
• Coaching, leading, and mentoring other team members when
asked.

*ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):*
• Experience with PeopleSoft Financials application.
• PeopleTools 8.53 or higher is required.
• Provide technical development guidance as requested through
full project life cycle from discovery of requirements through
implementation and go live.
• Strong knowledge of the PeopleSoft Toolset: Application
Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, and SQR .
• Strong SQL development skills with experience writing complex
SQL routines; must have at least 5-7 years of SQL experience.
• This position may include working with PeopleSoft Query, Data
Mover and File Layout.
• Selected candidate must have advanced PeopleSoft programming
skills including experience in developing custom pages using various
PeopleSoft provided tools and assigning security to custom built modules
using Menus, Permission Lists, Roles and User Profiles.
• Experience writing multiple and complex reports using
PeopleSoft reporting utilities.

*QUALIFICATIONS:*
• 7 years of PeopleSoft technical development.
• Extensive technical knowledge of one or more PeopleSoft
applications gained through participation in an enterprise implementation
is strongly preferred.
• Experience with integrations between HCM and FSCM preferred.
• Web service experience a definite plus.
• Experience in a post go-live environment and with doing a
fiscal year end close
• Experience in a Higher Education, fund accounting based
environment
• Experience with PeopleSoft AWE, Component Interface,
Integration Broker, XML publisher and Application Messaging highly
desirable.
• Demonstrated Conversion and interface experience a plus.
