*Position : Sr Network EngineerLocation : Novato, CADuration : 6 months* Interview: *Phone* (please be prepared also in case a F2F interview is requested by the client) Must have strong *Cisco R/S and network auditing* experience. They need to have experience finding the points of impact and finding what may have been missed in the current migration plan. Our client is migrating their LAN / WAN and Voice network to new Cisco equipment. (Network is migrating from Cisco to Cisco and Voice is migrating from Avaya to Cisco voice platform). The migration is being done by a third-party and they need an engineer on each side - network and voice, to review documentation, perform site surveys, outline current network model, and perform impact analysis based on what they may have missed on their initial survey. Identify gaps in migration plan and areas of potential interruption of services to business units, users, etc. This position would require re-designing parts of the voice network, data network, plan the migration and cut over for each site, but it will not be a hands on turn the wrench engineering position.
