Position: *Guide wire Policy Center Data Migration Lead* Location: *Los Angeles; CA* Duration: *6+ Months* Rate: *$60/hr All on C2C* *Job Description* · The Guide wire Policy Center Data Migration lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to · Providing day to day leadership of the Data Migration mapping and conversion team · Working closely with the ETL Data Migration lead and serve as primary interface to legacy systems · Identifying, extracting and transforming required data for Guide Wire Policy Center software, based on business requirements and following data governance standards · Migrating required data from the legacy system data by analyzing and mapping existing data to a new solution · Working closely with legacy data teams and the RI/vendor teams to ensure the right data is migrated · Performing detailed data analysis and data profiling · Supporting the development and implementation of data cleanse/create processes and other strategies that optimize data quality · Understanding performance, quality, and schedule considerations · Interpreting complex data and communicate it in an effective manner, leveraging advanced reporting techniques · Recognizing data patterns, quantify potential issues, and identify solutions · Standardizing, harmonizing, cleaning, preparing, and using data for datasets development, reporting, and analysis · Providing support to the project team in terms of technical specification and build of Interface and Conversion objects · Developing and maintaining enterprise data authoritative ownership and stewardship metadata · Developing and maintaining effective and efficient information architecture and data ownership awareness and training programs · Monitoring regulatory and compliance guidelines (such as data retention and audit requirements) to determine impact on enterprise information architecture *Required Skills:* · Expertise in Guide wire Policy Center Data Migration · A minimum of 5 years + experience within large-scale data conversion projects to Guide wire Policy Center · Experience of ETL toolsets and data integration across different platforms, using mapping tools, SQL scripting · Experience with the following is essential: MS SQL Server 2008 and SSIS · Technical expertise regarding data models and database design and ability to review design specifications to ensure they meet data design standards at the functional and/or technical levels · Understanding of legacy database formats · Experience in data analysis/profiling techniques and procedures *Preferred:* · Experience of working with *Agile methodologies* Regards SAM Sr Technical Recruiter Meta Dimensions Inc 22696 Glenn Dr. Suite 306 Sterling, VA 20164 *s...@metadimensionsinc.com <s...@metadimensionsinc.com>* *571-522-7092* Yahoo : srikanth_hi2all -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business_Intelligence" group.
