*Job Tittle: ETL Developer Location : Madison, WI Duration: 6+ month contract * *"" Need Local Candidates Only "" * Requirements: 5+ years of experience as either an ETL Developer or BI Developer 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or 2008R2 3+ years in a Data Warehouse environment is preferred Proficient in designing, developing and implementing ETL and/or data integration solutions across a variety of sources Proficient using Microsoft SQL Server SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Experience with dimensional data modeling in a data warehousing / BI domain Strong structured problem solving skills and analytical thinking Demonstrated database design and stored procedure skills Ability to turn requirements into implemented database solutions. Incorporating business logic into data sourcing logic with necessary data structures, data validation, exceptional handling and automated reporting. Follow necessary quality assurance methodologies to ensure that the database processes meets the expected performance and scalability requirements. Must be flexible, be able to change priorities quickly, handle multiple tasks concurrently and dedicated to completing assigned tasks on time Individual must be a self-starter and capable of working independently as well as part of a team and capable of learning new tools and technologies Strong oral and written communication skills Experience working with non-technical users. Other Desirable Experience and Skills: Experience working with SSAS Cubes Experience with reporting writing tools like SSRS or Crystal Experience working as a DBA Experience in dimensional data modeling principles and techniques using tools such as Erwin, ER Studio, etc Experience in automated builds and source control software Familiarity in a fundraising or not for profit environment Experience with CRM, ERP and/or Financial Reporting systems. Key Functions/Responsibilities: Provide leadership and expertise in designing, developing and configuring new SQL Server ETL (SSIS) to meet business needs Define and deliver consistent ETL standards, methodologies, guidelines & techniques.
