*Location:*:: *MA-Massachusetts/Westborough Duration:::6+ months * *Job Description::*-Responsible for determining systems requirements for new or modified database application programs, creates the system specifications and Is responsible for the development, testing and implementation of efficient, cost effective application solutions. -Will receive general direction from the Manager, work closely with business analysts to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. -May coordinate the activities of the section with the client area and other IT sections (e.g., database, operations, technical support). -Work in conjunction with the data architect/modeler on the data warehouse reporting solution. -Possess expertise in writing and tuning, view, stored procedures, and functions. -Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, written and oral communications skills with demonstrated ability to simultaneously adjust to changing priorities, successfully completing multiple tasks. -Prepares deliverables such as source to- target mappings; transformation rules documentation. -7-10-Years’ experience -Experience with Vertica is desired although not a must. -If not Vertica, then a solid background in other RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata -Strong database and SQL skills -Experience in tuning SQL queries and making performance recommendations -Some experience in data modeling -Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive and Cassandra a *huge* plus -Experience with ETL tools such as Pentaho or Informatica also a plus -Experience in UNIX/Linux shell scripting/Python or general programming -To a lesser extent familiarity and ability to code in Java. -Knowledge of JSON, Restful APIs, CURL, JSON. -To a lesser extent, also familiarity with Tableau or other BI tools -Support experience needed would include the ability to triage issues and drive to resolution by involving the appropriate stakeholders: DBAs, UNIX support, application teams or others -Financial services experience desirable -Good communication skills -Flexibility to perform weekend support as required *Regards, Rashmi Singh(Technical Resource Specialist)Ramy Infotech IncPhone: 408-317-9256 Ext-334 Fax : 408-273-6834Email: rashmi.si...@ramyinfotech.com <rashmi.si...@ramyinfotech.com>* Note: We are working with prime vendor (One Layer between) for this position. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business_Intelligence" group.
