Candidates need to mainly have experience with Java, Java Script and Oracle
along with Work flow. 7 - 10 years of pure development experience (hands
on) Mortgage experience is very helpful.



The candidate will be required to solve moderately complex problems that
require some independent thinking. While adhering to coding standards,
testing methods (ex. JUNIT), and source management guide lines established
by the CLM group. In addition they will need to be part of regular code
reviews from their peers and senior staff.



This individual must be a self starter and be willing to use trial and
error to solve problems, as well as accept feedback from peers. Uses
judgment within defined parameters and established guidelines and provide
guidance to junior level developers. Be able to articulate opinions on
software development issues to team or work group. Demonstrate an
understanding and adherence to Fannie Mae vision, values, and principles.
Effectively changes and meets deadlines as they evolve and observes quality
standards. Foresees potential technical issues within team and recommends
approaches to solve issues. Exhibits positive can do attitude towards
peers, colleagues, and customers.



Must have Qualifications



National Underwriting Center and Credit Loss Mitigation technologies team
is responsible for the applications supporting the loan review processing.
A candidate for this developer position will possess a strong understanding
of IBM Lombardi Workflow or any Workflow tool and/or J2EE and the BEA/JBOSS
platform. As well as an intricate knowledge of JSF, STRUTS, SWING, WEB
Services, Java Script and PL/SQL.



The candidate should possess a solid understanding of WEBLOGIC and JBOSS
while knowledge of UNIX and apache web server skills is a plus. They need
to be proficient with GOF and J2EE patterns (ex. MVC, Fa?ade, singleton and
adapter). The candidate should be able to work on multiple platforms within
a fast moving work environment.



- Possesses approximately 8+ years of directly related experience.

- Apply object-oriented design principles, industry best practices (e.g.
design patterns) and company policies and procedures to design and
implement changes for mission critical loan selection and review platform.

- Learn quickly and develop creative solutions, encompassing software
integration, performance, reliability, manageability and security.

- The Sr. Developer will need to work directly with a Manager to ascertain
necessary scope changes.

- Interacts with other developers as well as with Business Management,
Configuration Management, Quality -Assurance and core Architecture Support
in order to complete their job responsibilities.

- Also works with other Developer to ensure consistency among services.

- Has knowledge and experience in one specific technical expertise or
specialty and working knowledge of large technical systems.

- Can assist senior developers in solving moderately complex problems that
affects the service.

- Understands and effectively uses technical tools, applications, and
procedures.

- Develops, troubleshoots, debugs and implements software for a component
of the system design



Preferred skills



A candidate for this developer position will possess a strong understanding
