- 5+ years recent hands-on experience coding in Java.
- 2+ years recent hands-on work with Spring Framework IOC.
- Spring portfolio frameworks, such as Spring Integration, Spring MVC,
Spring Security, Spring Batch, Spring Data, and Grails.
- 2+ years recent hands-on work with REST web services.
- Comfortable with Eclipse-based IDEs.
- Excels at both self-directed and collaborative problem solving.
- Familiar with Agile methods like Scrum.
- Comfortable with Mac OS X.
- Hands on experience with Drools Expert rules engine
- NoSQL technologies, especially Cassandra and MongoDB
- Hands-on experience with the following:
- Chef or Puppet configuration management.
- Cloud infrastructure, such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Continuous integration with Jenkins (Hudson) and Sonar.
- EHCache, Memcached, Squid, or Apache Traffic Server caching
- Git version control
- Gradle project automation
- Groovy language
- JIRA and Confluence
