*Job Title : Business Analyst with (ETL, Healthcare, ALM Experience)Location : Washington, DCDuration : 6+Months ContractPhone and Face to Face Interview (NO SKYPE/PHONE)Summary:* Understand needs to stabilize system. Sys analyst- change, document, follow process. Working on invoice platform that’s in place. Understand it and work with business to understand challenges and technical side. Work with bus and IT team. document issues from both areas. Technical background- business technical tools- ALM, data tools, ETL /SQL/ Excel spreadsheets- to do filters. ETL process- how they work, certain requirement and report analysis. Background-healthcare –required. Need someone that can catch up to speed quickly. Core invoice platform- FACETS , on top of facets, there are CF custom processes that were built. Facet data models, translate that to reports and data- this would be an advantage. More than one data flow, touches several systems. Need to understand business needs, expand, automate process that are currently manual. High level thought process. Solutions will come from technical team but need to be technical enough to help Business/systems analyst , not technical writer. Need to understand systems. Microstrategy – tool looking in future. Nice to have. *Responsibilities*: Ensures business requirements are fully defined and understood at a detailed technical level and facilitates business involvement in technology decisions. Provides technical systems guidance for modifications to current systems and/or recommends design solutions for new systems initiatives. Participates in the analysis of existing business rules, processes, and systems to recommend process and system enhancements to improve business performance and maximize the effectiveness of available technology. Lead testing efforts by defining, developing and implementing practices and procedures for complete end user test plans. Participates in the moderately complex business/user/functional requirements analysis, verification and prioritization sessions. The Systems Analyst function impacts the quality and accuracy of the technical solutions developed in support of corporate initiatives by providing the link between Business Analysts and Developers. Researches and analyzes basic and complex issues surrounding the processes and systems of an organization. Knowledge of Health Care and surround business process is a must. Experience in data analysis and hands on technical expertise is a advantage. *Requirements:* This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business or relevant work experience in systems analysis/design and 3-6 years of direct Systems Analyst experience. Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with current relevant technologies used in the development, implementation, and support of software solutions. Experience with moderately complex systems projects. Includes demonstrated experience with development of technical solutions and technical specification documentation.
