Using hostapd and nl80211 permission problem

2018-03-23 Thread Gautam Bhat
Hi,

I am trying to bring up my Wireless LAN interface in busybox with non-admin
privileges. I have configured busybox with "FEATURE_SUID_CONFIG" with
permissions given to ifconfig, ifup, ifdown, hostapd etc. When I start the
hostapd I get permission errors for NL80211 interface. How can I fix this?
Would I have to see libnl library permissions? Any other places I would
have to look at? Also is this been tried in busybox?

Thanks,
Gautam.
