I want to comment on a conversation I listened to with Al and a 13 yo girl.
(I think Maggie??), I was impressed! During the contest Al took the time
to talk to her and ask her about HAM radio and how she got into it, etc...
The conversation lasted about 5 mins total. With lots of back and
I think it all kind of depends on how you're making said contact. Scheduled Q
or one found on a spot there's a map and a way to figure out the best direction
to aim. Otherwise a general point in the direction you want to talk to and
search or call CQ.
