Here is a link to the event we are holding tomorrow for BLUETTI. Going to
have drinks and you can get to know Julio who can do mobile radio
installations as well. We will be selling these select units, and *we will
even pay for the sales tax*. We really want to get as many of our units
into the
I got some BLUETTI portable units coming down from my warehouse in Dallas
today. Donating a lot of them to the Salvation Army, and trying to get
them in the hands of anyone that wants to buy a unit at cost. It is mainly
our smaller units 300-2000wh batteries and 200 watt panels. If you know
I wonder why he didn’t sell it off. Valuable brand names at least. Could
have sold it 20 years ago and been retired this whole time. Oh well.

Probably a really great book he’s lived a very interesting life. I’m
friends with his organist uncle here in Houston George Mims, and have
gotten to talk to Forrest a few times. Really smart guy, and kind of a
rebel too. I found out I grew up in the same neighborhood he lived growing
up. What

I still remember Saturday Feb 1, 2003 like yesterday. Listening early in
the morning getting ready to take my brother to take his ham test.
Listening to the NASA feed and feeling very confused at first and then
realizing what was happening I ran to my television to turn on the news. I
suppose the
That’s great! Thanks for the heads up.

They sure did. Here is a link to a website where you can track the balloon.
http://wspr.rocks/
Just type in K9YO and do a search for the last week then the map button to
see its last known transmissions. It was using 20m and maybe 5 watts but I
bet it was more like .5 watts.
On Thu, Feb 16,
Sad. Hopefully they try to sell

I’ll put an ad in there. Maybe just a business card this month and I’ll
make a bigger 1/2 page one for the next month after. What do I need to do?

If you find them expensive to repair, you might wanna swing by Harbor
Freight. Their Predator inverter generators are very good for the price.
Comparable to your Hondas but maybe a third the price.

Since we are on the subject. Does anyone have an opinion on shielded
Ethernet vs not shielded? I used to be a small voltage tech for the cable
company and I did a lot of cat5-6 installs for other jobs and almost never
used shielded Ethernet. I’ve been told that it doesn’t matter but I’m

These guys are great. I pulled in while Harvey was about to roll into town
and I got a car antenna mount from them
And they even installed it for me just as they were closing up shop for the
storm! I havnt been in there in a while but it reminds me of the CB shops
that use to be around back in
Just checked and it looks like 40meters should work for NVID today but just
barely.

What is the difference in cost? I assume the larger the diameter of the
wire the safer. 450watts is quite a lot of power. I wouldn’t cheap out on
the coil.

Thanks for the link! If anyone has any solar related questions and
especially how it pertains to amateur radio I would like to throw my name

If anyone is looking at a whole home backup generator, I have them in
stock. My wife and I own a solar company in Rosenberg. We've been
installing solar and batteries and we have our own system as well. Really
great for emergency situations. But I can also pair solar with a whole
