Wonder if we will ever get LiFePO4 batteries for cars….. at a reasonable
price. I think they have some desirable properties…. especially weight.

I have a friend who went to AutoZone with an old battery in his F-150 that was
about 5 years old and was failing. The manager of the store looked him up and
found he was a Vietnam veteran. The manager replaced the battery with the best
one available (Delco) for no charge.

The best deal I could find on a car battery about 6 months ago was at Costco.
They have most sizes in stock and its just quick exchange in and out with out a
bunch of up sales BS.

I stay away from Autozone unless its the only thing available. Too bad theres
not many accessible NAPA Auto Parts stores around this area. Especially in the
