I’m an older ham with the expertise of a very new ham. I just got the little
Yaesu from Amazon for about $160. It seems to be a very fine little radio,
especially for the price. Brutal construction…you could drive posts with
it…and no noisy fan!

Here is a very good deal on the Yeasu FT 2900. for $119.95. This sure seems
like a good deal. THoguht the newer hams would want to know about this
one.
