Allen, I understand that we are going to have some great stations setup this year. New antennas with great rigs and a resolve for being a real contender. Whats usually one of the best field day teams on the air could easily be looking at putting up a solid score that will get noticed by all.

Philip, One of the studies I saw showed that the number of participants in CW contests has increased by over 30% since Morse code requirement was removed from the exams. I think that people are getting into Morse code because it is a wonderfully compact language to communicate in for

Well we both signed the email with our call signs and I believe we are both Hams in good standing. That usually seems to be enough to relate it to Ham Radio with what I would call a loose affiliation. If 10m would open up Bill could use that to keep us informed. That should tie is all together

And this has to do with amateur radio how?? As for making a new class of criminal, no... they already broke the law... didn't pay child support or traffic violations are Laws broken already.. I fail to see how this proposed bill makes a new class of criminals.. And back to amateur radio I hope
