*You can get hot tweezers which are have heating elements in the tips.
These are best for SMD with one solder pad on each end such as
capacitors and resistors.

You can use solder wick to remove most of the solder from each side of the
component. Then, touch the soldering iron tip back and forth to each side of
the component. It will come loose while gently pushing it with a pair of
tweezers or a little stick. Don't leave the soldering iron tip on the
