Subject: STX DXCC Card Checker Appointment Solicitation

Due to the unfortunate loss of a fine member of our Amateur Radio
community, a vacancy exists within the ranks of DXCC Card Checkers for
South Texas.

The qualifications to be selected as an ARRL DXCC Card Checker are:

          • An ARRL Member who holds a DXCC award endorsed for at
least 150 DX entities;

          • To be eligible to check QSL cards for 160 meters, the
applicant must have earned DXCC for 160 meters;

         • Must agree they have reviewed and understand the ARRL DXCC
Rules and Card Checker Instructions;

        • Must be willing to serve at reasonable times and places,
including at least one ARRL sectioned hamfest, Section, State or
Division ARRL Convention each year;

        • Must have internet and email capability;

        • Must maintain current contact information, including an
email address, with the ARRL Radiosport department, the Division
Director and the STX Section Manager;

        • Must be willing to check QSLs for all applicable phases of
the ARRL DXCC program.
