I was able to use wires-x on the  444.9750

repeater.
Using FT1XD in the museum district.

You can try hitting the two fusion repeaters in Friendswood. They're

believe they are still active. One is 2m the other 70cm. Look them up on
repeater book under KD5GR.

One of the 70cm system fusion / wires x repeaters in the area does a net
entirely in c4fm but I can't remember which repeater it is, maybe the
Friendswood one?

I know that isn't an answer to you question but it's something in that
direction.
