A patch release of Xerces-C, V3.2.3, is now available. The web site [1] and download site are refreshed [2] with the relevant links updated. The list of issues addressed can be found at [3].

Hi Scott,

Does archive.apache.org also need updating?  Some URLs used by packaging tools e.g.

  url "https://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.lua?path=xerces/c/3/sources/xerces-c-3.2.2.tar.gz";   mirror "https://archive.apache.org/dist/xerces/c/3/sources/xerces-c-3.2.2.tar.gz";

Do not work with a 3.2.3 version number substituted.

As well as updating MacOS X homebrew, I've updated Microsoft vcpkg (https://github.com/microsoft/vcpkg/pull/10779) and have also updated the FreeBSD port (currently testing all the reverse dependencies with poudriere before opening the ticket).  I'll also open tickets with Debian and Fedora.  Any others to consider?

Note Fedora noted the same problem with the archive URL here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1822963

Ports ticket: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=245576

Once the archive URL is fixed, I'll do the homebrew update.

Regards,

Roger
