Maybe I'm a bit late to the party, but configure fails when configuring for a
cross-compile platform:
Running
export CROSS_COMPILE=armv7a-hf-
./configure CFLAGS=-O3 CXXFLAGS=-O3 -host=arm-linux-gnueabi
--enable-transcoder-iconv
fails with
checking for wcsrtombs... configure: error: in `/home/

A patch release of Xerces-C, V3.2.2, has been released to address some build
issues and a libcurl improvement. Release notes are here [1].
The distributions have been uploaded to the site, and the web site should be
updated soon.
