Haha, reading the cookbook took me many, many days ;) Not everybody
goes at the same rate.
TBH, Kamran, I didn't get very much out of any of the tutorials I
found and only really started getting the hang of things after I began
an actual application and not just writing sandboxed example code.

Your best bet is to start alongside the cookbook. Say you start
reading about controllers, open up and create a controller and test it
out. Then gradually move piece by piece.
