Almond Pear Coffee Cake
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 17-ounce box of pound cake mix
1/3 cup milk
2 large eggs
2 pounds pears, cored - peeled and thinly sliced
Do you have the creamy lemon filling recipe which goes with this?
Thanks -
Theresa

I guess you missed the post where I asked the same question... and the answer
is 3/4 cup. I made the cake for my sister's little gathering of friends and
they all loved it. One of her guests (who always declines when offered to wrap
up something) made sure she had a couple slices to take home.
DOUBLE CARAMEL CAKE
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. boiling water
3/4 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs, unbeaten
3 c. sifted cake flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Melt the 1/3 cup sugar in heavy skillet, stirring constantly
until deep
As far as what I was told, you just put it all in together and stir it up
God Bless
Marla
