Joy,
I agree with you. The picture from our Callers Workshop at Pinewoods is on my
computer at work. My pics are my screensaver, so I see the gang often. Good
hearing from you.
See ya,

Dan,
Your dance has a similar sequence in the A part of my dance Gypsy Chase, but
yours looks like a difference dance to me. Mine looks like this:
Gypsy Chase Joy Greenwolfe, March 2006
Improper
A1 Long lines forward and back (8)
Gents Allemande L 1.5 (8)
A2
If you start from the common man-on-the-left, woman-on-the-right, and
circle left 3/4, the women have swapped sides.
Easiest fix is to have the women swap sides again somewhere else.

I've had a similar observation (not in my deck necessarily but also from
the dance programs I encounter on the floor)
I would say my collection tends to involve more Gents in the center, often
coming out of a swing, going into an allemande L 1-1/2, to swing on the other
side, but that’s just an empirical feeling because I notice having to pull
dances from a program if too many have that transition.
Thanx,
I was informed by the sage that is Chris Page, that the dance below is very
similar to Joy Greenwolfe's dance "The Gypsy Chase", Joy could you confirm and
share your dance?
Thanks,
Dan Black

As I programed my dance evenings for this weekend, I noticed that close to
80% of my dance cards have just the Ladies in the center doing something,
About 10% have the Gents going in, and the remaining 10% or so have both
the Lady and the Gent, or neither the Lady or the Gent going in.
