The Waggoner and The Margate Hoy are from the 1700's and they are both

I'm always hesitant to include dances with swings in a ONS.
Sometimes it can work, but it very much depends on the group. Besides
he was asking about Colonial dances that have been simplified for
non-dancers. Throwing a swing in makes a dance more challenging for
non-dancers and
Jefferson & Liberty - just replace the. 4 changes with “1s Swing”... l call it
Jefferson’s Remorse” ( He must have regretted his Dance didn’t have a partner
swing, right?).

I often use Jefferson's Reel (modified from Jefferson and Liberty)
at ONS dances. I have also used Money in Both Pockets. This all
assumes the crowd is up to doing duple minor dances, as opposed to whole
set or other formations.
Jefferson's Reel
Dudley Briggs; adapted from Jefferson and
Lady of the Lake? Not sure dates and not near my cards, but definitely easy.
