"Cambodia" at the 62nd UNGA rerpesented by a former Khmer rouge leader , Hor Nam Hong who said:"Cambodia called for a comprehensive reform of the United Nations on Monday to make the world body responsive to 21st century problems."Why did the UN allow a Thief , a UN charter violator to make a speech there ? In order to get in the UN building and be allowed to make speech, the UN security has to make sure that every check on the individual meet the criterias ...weapon and other ....But the UN high authority fails their job to check on UN Charter violators and thievery. In Cambodia UNDP is processing through a so called UN tribunal to arrest a selected Khmer Rouge leader such as Nuon Chea and Duch and put him/her on trial ....UNDP does not process to arrest the real culprit such as Hor nam Hong ...In New York at the UN HQ ,at 62nd UNGA they allowed Hor Nam Hong to make a speech here while the UN fails to read the 10 UN resolutions on Vietnam occupation of Cambodia , not respected...10 UN RESOLUTIONS,(1979-1988) VOTED BY 116 UN MEMBER COUNTRIES ,CALL VIETNAM TO CEASE HER OCCUPATION OF CAMBODIA & REMOVE ALL HER TROOPS FROM THE COUNTRY ARE NOT RESPECTED. SUCH AS THESE : Nov. 14, 1979 The UN General Assembly adopts a resolution A/RES/34/22 calling for the immediate withdrawal of all foreign troops from Cambodia. The vote is 91-21 with 29 abstentions. International and Cambodian judges are meeting in the capital Phnom Penh for a week-long discussion of ongoing issues surrounding the court. In August, the court formally indicted former Khmer Rouge prison chief Kaing Guek Eav - better known as Duch - making him the first leader to stand trial. His trial is expected to begin in October, but the court remains in financial difficulty._________________________________________________________________ Be the filmmaker you always wanted to be—learn how to burn a DVD with Windows®. http://clk.atdmt.com/MRT/go/108588797/direct/01/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cambodia Discussion (CAMDISC) - www.cambodia.org" group.
