Skype 2.2.0.35, Operating System Ubuntu 12.04 LTS; Not displaying
incomming video. Displays outgoing video, tried all tick boxes in
options. dmesg says 'Skype is using obsolete setsockopt SO_BSDCOMPAT.
Help?

Same problem here.
It happens after halt as described above ... Only fix is to purge skype and
then reinstall, but next halt lead to the same 'core dump'.
I can add that this is started after update to 12.04 and i'm on 64bit.

Since upgrading to 12.04
I use Mythbuntu. I had fallen behind in upgrading, because I was
reasonably happy with the stability of 10.10. However, when the message
came that updates were no longer supported, I decided to upgrade,
progressively, through 11.04, 11.10 12.04.
Towards the end of the 11.04 upgrade process,
[Expired for skype (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60
days.]
