Hi all,

I'm Igor Custodio a master degree student at Federal University of São Carlos
Brazil.

I've been studing HL7 for my thesis and maybe I can help.

First you need to define what part need to be integrated (This we can call
"domain"), because a full HL7 integrated platform need too much work.

To have idea about domains, you can visit:
http://www.hl7.org/v3ballot/html/processable/multicacheschemas/schemas.htm

Other thing to define is what version of HL7 you will use, version 2 versus 3
(Tab delimited vesus XML)....

After that, you need to find in your DB the infos need by the protocol ...
code... test ... validate ... etc ...

 Well, that's it,

 Best regards,

 Igor V. Custodio

hi all,

c2x is wonderful integrated platform, but sometimes it
needs to communicate with other platforms which don't
speak the hxp standard. so the need for hl7 comes up.
since it would be something needed to add to care2x,
is there any hl7 expert in the community which could
help us with the integration of hl7 in care2x ?

regards
gj.
