hi,
i've got a small question concerning surefit error correction manually:
how is it possible that i've corrected handles to a total number of less

The handle-counting algorithm implemented in SureFit occasionally yields a negative handle count for particular voxel geometries. Initial efforts to correct the glitch in the algorithm were not successful, and it was put on a back burner because in practice it rarely causes a problem.

and i've got a big question concerning MRI pulse sequences to get useful
results for SureFit after:
is there a appropriate sequences and what are recommended TRs and TEs,
flip angles to get high resolution structural images?

Any pulse sequences that yield good contrast between white matter (bright), gray matter (intermediate), and CSF (dark) should work ok for SureFit. Our lab does not have expertise in the wizardry of MRI pulse-sequencing, so I would seek the advice of others on that score.
