[cas-user] ldap filter search isn't replaced with its value

hi I'm trying to plug cas into ldap server for authentication on ubuntu server 16.04. I ran into an error, so I used wireshark to trace it. wireshark that shows cas is sending "$(ldap.auth.searchFilter)" instead of first replacing it with its value. I'm looking forward to your help... here is my
