Looks like expired STs were always fixed to 0 on the stats page. File an issue
please.

It seems very strange, i explain :

- on /cas/statistics/ssosessions, i can see the usage count increment and what
services are using
- on cas/statistics, the gauge on Unexpired & Expireds STs are always null

Nobody in the same situation ?
I think the feature is already present but the gauge doesn't use the right
counter maybe.

Hi

My context :

CAS 4.2.4 (Maven Overlay install)
Tomcat 7
ServicesRegistry : json
TicketRegistry : ehcache
After some hours, everything seems to work as expected.
I can see active TGTs on /cas/statistics with ehcacheMonitor enabled.

But there is nothing about STs ...
Does anyone know how to get statistics on ST with ehcache Ticket Registry ?

Thanks for your help :)

Re: [cas-user] Statistics on version 4

2015-12-01 Thread Misagh Moayyed
The CAS4 documentation is at [1]. [2] is only for CAS3.

Stats are available:
http://jasig.github.io/cas/4.1.x/installation/Monitoring-Statistics.html

Stats are different from audits and logs. For those you need [1].

A rational database is a database for which a JDBC driver exists such as MYSQL,
etc.

Re: [cas-user] Statistics on version 4

2015-12-01 Thread Misagh Moayyed
The stats you are after are only available via a web endpoint. The docs should
explain how to get those endpoints. They are not in a rational DB. You could
get those and put them into a DB of your choice.

[cas-user] Statistics on version 4

2015-12-01 Thread Manfredo Hopp
Hi, I was looking for statistics and audit in Cas4.

I would like to gather information sauch as bind/unbind timestamp,
sessionId, role used, maxthinktime, etc. Where can I see what kiind of data
is available?

Reading cas documentation I saw that there is a documentation conflict
 between [1] and [2].
I presume [2] is for version 3 though could not see any warnings at this
page.

In [2] there is a mention on creating tables and managers for statistics
which are not mentioned in [1], so I presume statistics are not handled on
Cas4 or is consolidated on one single table.
Also no JdbcStatisticManager in Cas4 as for version3.

Could somenone clarify this?

I could also read about auditing components but nothing said about relation
of these and db table. Should I refer to InspektR for this porpuses?

Also, from docs in [1]
"JdbcAuditTrailManager AuditTrailManager to persist the audit trail to the
AUDIT_TRAIL table in a rational database."
What is a rational database?

Regards

Manfredo Hopp
