Indexing multidimensional time series

I'm evaluating HBase for the purpose of storing and indexing massive amounts of EEG data (~50 TB of multichannel high-frequency time series). I'm wondering if there are any existing use cases or benchmarks for Cassandra in this domain. Thanks Alex Kamil
