Yes. But (putting mailing list admin hat on) it has been traditionally
okay for technical people to post recruitment messages to the Cat,
Moose, and DBIC mailing lists. Technical people, mind, not HR droids, so
the amount of clue stays high.

Can you tell me anything more about the position:
* New development or supporting and extending existing system? (primarily)
* How large is the development group/staff?
* How managed is the staff (organized v. self-directed)
* How do you manage development there (SCMs, process, deadlines, etc)

My $work experience has been doing exactly what you describe but I
have thus far been solo.
