I counted over 1000 loons in southbound flight from near Agway in downtown Ithaca this morning. The flight was en masse (1000+ feet above ground level) when I arrived at ~8AM and it appeared most had passed when I stopped counting at 8:20AM. The groups were large, some formations stretching 100

Hi all, John Confer will be leading a Cayuga Bird Club trip to Oswego Harbor this Sunday, Nov 21, leaving at 8:00 am from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. This all-day trip will travel to Lake Ontario in search of Long-tailed Ducks and other waterfowl as well as several gull species not
