I wonder if this was identified simply on the basis of being an Empidonax with a yellow belly, or whether it showed a bold, even, complete eye-ring, a yellow-gray throat with low contrast to the face, a round head, and a short tail, and if it gave vocalizations of Yellow-bellied Flycatcher. Note
