The other evening it came to my attention that I have bats roosting under the siding of my house. Last evening over 20 flew out from two different openings. I consider them to be rather large bats as the bodies seem larger than other bats I have had experience with. What I would like to know is

Richard. Cave hibernating bats establish separate maternal roost sites in the summer. They will return to their winter roosts and not remain in your siding over the winter. If you are serious about doing them no harm as I am sure you are I think you should get in touch with Bat Conservation
