The Park Preserve was cold and quiet this morning, but I found a couple of
pockets of birds. The first corner/overlook area was productive as always,
with at least four HERMIT THRUSHES (present every time I have been there
since the summer) and a beautiful SWAINSON'S THRUSH giving flight calls. At
Looks like Canada Geese are starting to move...hundreds flying over my house
right now! Stirs the soul!
