Montezuma National Wildlife Complex (MNWC) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)------------ A slow week for the complex. Except for TRUMPETER SWAN and SNOW GOOSE nothing much to report. Onondaga County------------ 1/12: An AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN was discovered in the Inner Harbor near Destiny Mall and remains as of today. 1/16: LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, GLAUCOUS GULL and ICELAND GULL were all reported at the Inner Harbor. 1/17: A GLAUCOUS GULL was seen at the Liverpool Marina on Onondaga Lake. A MERLIN was seen at the Inner Harbor. Madison County------------ 1/16: An ICELAND GULL and a GLAUCOUS GULL were both seen on Ditchbank Road north of Chittenango. Oswego County------------ 1/14: A female DICKCISSEL was discovered at a feeder in Fulton. The address is 847 Forest Ave. The bird is best seen from the road looking at feed on the ground on the right side of the house. The bird was last seen yesterday. 1/17: A GLOUCOUS GULL was seen on the Oswego River from 1st. Street in Oswego.An ICELAND GULL was seen in Oswego Harbor. A female KING EIDER continues in Lake Ontario at Selkirk Shores. A DUNLIN was seen on the breakwall at Port Ontario.
